Analyzing Philosophical Subjects Transforming Of Western Philosophy History From Perspective Of Science,Technology And Society

Western philosophy originated from ancient Greece in the 6th century BC.The subject of philosophy was the thinking on ontology.The emergence and development of it in Greece is close to the geographical conditions and the unique city-state system.Besides,social economic conditions such as maritime trade laid the economic basis.The development of technologies such as shipbuilding facilitated the ancient Greek philosophers to explore the world.Since ancient Greek philosophy and natural science are integrated,the philosophical subject centred on ontology due to the existence of natural science thought.The Sophists and Socrates in late Greece transferred the focus of philosophy to the study of human beings,the decline of social system then impelled philosophers to focus on the practical problems of human and social life.The development of science can not be separated from rational thinking,and technological progress improves the ability of people,which also changes the subject of ancient Greek philosophy.During the Middle Ages of Europe,the society was in turmoil,philosophy and science were completely mastered by religion without any development under the oppression of the church and the religion despite of the progress in technology.Since the Renaissance in the fifteenth century,the philosophical subject has transformed from God to man and his experience world.The geographical advantages of Italy laid an ecological basis for the transformation.The development of society emphasized people's value,technological progress has also demonstrated the strength of human activity.What's more,the development of natural science has also created conditions for philosophical subject to get rid of religion.The outbreak of the scientific revolution linked philosophical thoughts with human rationality,and the philosophical subject changed from the concern for people to the analysis of epistemology.After the Renaissance,European society has finally stabilized,the industrial revolution began in the 18 th century with the establishment of brand new concept of science at that time,philosophy has hence evolved into mechanical metaphysics.The comprehensive development of modern natural science facilitated the formation of dialectical view of nature,the new dialectic philosophy emerged with the ideological essence of natural sciences and German classical philosophy,namely dialectics of nature.There was a linguistic transformation in philosophy and followed by ecological philosophy after the 20 th century.The technology of the 20 th century changed the world by its logical language,which was the technical background of the philosophical language transformation.The development of information globalization facilitated the shift from philosophy to language directly,traditional western philosophy can not meet the needs of its own development any more,therefore,the further study of language laid the foundation for the philosophical reconstruction.Global integration has laid the ideological foundation for the organic integration concept of ecological philosophy.The outbreak of ecological crisis caused by technological alienation threatened the survival and development of human beings,as a result,ecological philosophy emerged.It is the rational thinking of philosophy for human actions.The ecological philosophy became the new direction of philosophy with necessary theoretical basis created by the progress of science.
