Development And Application Of Geological Mapping System For Coal Mine Based On GIS Technology

The use of GIS related technologies has become an important part of "Digital Mine".To bring the process of drawing mine geological maps into standardization,automation and systematization,and provide information for each department timely have become the key technologies for establishing a modern Digital mine.This paper expands research on issues like the formulation of geological mapping process,the establishment of the Geological-Survey Symbol Library,the standardization of maps making and export based on the analysis of the research status at home and abroad.The main contents are as follows:1)Do research on the subject establish the Geological-Survey Symbol Library according to the relevant standards,and realize the symbolic expression of geological phenomena.In addition,this paper also enables fast positioning and selecting of symbol by classification and realization of coding retrieval,and provides creation and edition function of symbols.2)This article solves some key issues involved in the research of coal mine geological mapping digitalization:In complex situations with a large number of two-dimensional geometric element data,the target polygon can be quickly selected with the improvement to the suspension point?suspension wire and search direction selection in the Turn-Left Algorithm and the elimination of a vast majority of invalid polygon.And then solving the problem about expressing geological area in geological maps effectively;using tension spline function to achieve smooth curve,making the display of line elements like the rock borders to achieve the desired effect during geological mapping etc.3)Design of geological mapping system and all modules.This system designed after fully taking account of the opinions of geologists and the advantage of computer technology.It provides more reasonable improvement for these cumbersome processes of geological map drawing,especially roadway and mining face sketch map drawing also the information extraction of sketch maps.And then the author developed a standard set of geological map production process.The geological mapping system development based on C++,SQL language and OpenGL,the practice and application show that the modules of this system can improve the efficiency,accuracy and the convenience of operation of geological mapping work in coal mine significantly,meeting the needs of digital mine construction and the information-based development of mine.
