Landslide disaster is one of serious geological disasters.Landslide dynamic monitoring and early warning is crucial for disaster prevention and mitigation.According to the shortage of traditional measurement methods in large deformation landslide monitoring,one large deformation displacement monitoring method was raised(use high-resolution remote sensing images)in this paper.As compared with the result based on digital speckle correlation methods,their applicable conditions and precision has been analyzed.This method was applied on monitoring west opening pit(in Fushun,Liaoning Province).The main results are as follows:(1)One large deformation displacement monitoring method was raised(use high-resolution remote sensing images)in this paper.Based on feature of SIFT that will remain invariant after image translation,rotation,scaling&affine transformation,this method was used to accomplish feature recognition,comparison and corresponding points match of high-resolution images in different periods.Landslide displacement vector area was then obtained through measuring the distance and direction between corresponding points.(2)As contrasted this method with the other method based on digital speckle correlation,their respective applicable conditions and advantages was analyzed,and the reliability of these calculation results has been analyzed based on the principles of two algorithms and external conditions(such as landscape and sunlight).(3)This method was applied on monitoring west opening pit(in Fushun,Liaoning Province).Then analyze the precision of the method and error sources by compare with the result from GPS monitoring sites.It showed that this method has overcome the defects of InSAR while monitoring large deformation landslide displacement fields.In addition,due to its low cost and high automation degree,this method is very suitable for large deformation landslide space displacement field monitoring.In summary,this study provided a new method of monitoring large deformation landslide displacement fields.
