After 30 years of oil production in the western depression of liaohe,at present,it has entered the stage of high degree of exploration.With the acceleration development of exploration,the exploration object is more and more diverse.So,evaluation criterion of Oil-gas-water relationship is becoming more and more complicated.Liaohe oilfield was used to establish the evaluation criterion of oil,gas and water by the gas phase chromatography technology,fluorescence microscopy and pyrolysis technology.However,because the method of evaluation is old,the coincidence rate of logging interpretation is not high.This thesis researched oil and gas layer identification problem in the western depression mainly through the light hydrocarbon analysis and pyrolysis analysis method.In this paper,the evaluation method of light hydrocarbon analysis technique is applied in 17 Wells,27 formation testing section,through the method of spectrogram,discriminant analysis,stepwise plate to analyze the light hydrocarbon data respectively.Among them,the method of the spectrogram is more intuitive,but the effect of identification is not good.By SPSS software cluster the parameters of light hydrocarbon,and optimizing some new evaluation parameters.The method of the discriminant analysis establishs two discriminant function by using the methods of a full introduction and step by step,but the coincidence rates are less than 67%.And the coincidence rate is as high as 81.5% by using the method of the stepwise plate in western depression.The method of the pyrolysis technol ogy is applied in 17 Wells,28 formation testing section.Among them,the coincidence rate is less than 50% by using the method of the discriminant analysis,in contrast,the coincidence rate is as high as 75% by using the method of the stepwise plate.Therefore,the using of discriminant analysis injects new blood for the oil and water layer identificatio,it is easy to operate,but the coincidence rate is low.Using the method of the stepwise plate in the western depression improves the coincidence rate,in the difficult situation of exploration and development,it plays a very important guiding role,and it has a very broad application prospects.
