Automatic weather station(AWS)is an important ground meteorological measuring instruments,the accuracy and precision of its measurement data directly affects the accuracy of weather forecasts.AWS has been widely distributed in various regions by meteorological bureau,and we can get the temperature,humidity,pressure,wind direction,wind speed,rainfall and other elements of weather from AWS in various regions of the country.Through elements of various meteorological environment in real time,you can promote the development of agriculture,industry,services,in the meanwhile,it reduced losses of meteorological disasters to a minimum in early warning of meteorological disasters.The storage and statistics of the national meteorological data has important guiding significance on research of regional climate,environmental management,resource development and maritime industry.The subject,in order to meet high-precision,low power consumption and good stability of automatic weather stations,uses a modular thinking,divides the data acquisition and data processing into two parts and designs a new generation of automatic weather station data acquisition system.Hardware platform select ARM9+MSP430 processor and expand the 32M SDRAM and 32M NAND FLASH,while it also expand the peripheral communication interface,including RS232,RS485,CAN bus interface,Ethernet interface and interactive interface.Meanwhile,according to the actual measurement environment,choose sensors to meet the requirements of the National Weather Service.Based on the requirements of business of AWS,the design of the software part includes U-Boot boot-loader modification,configuration and tailoring Linux kernel,rewrite and add drivers to the kernel to be compiled,such as an Ethernet port driver,keys,CAN bus driver and so on.The file of compiled kernel image is downloaded to the automatic weather station data collection,on this basis,and then we write applications to achieve GPS timing,GPRS data communication,data quality control,data storage and other tasks.Finally,AWS performance testing are performed at room temperature and low temperature.The test results show that the designed data acquisition system meet the specifications of data acquisition of AWS on the ground.
