Potash minerals as a strategic mineral resources,has been widely used in agriculture,chemicals,and other fields.And China is a relatively scarce resource potash country,so the exploration and development of potash resources is very important.In recent years,Jiangling Depression potassium-rich brine exploration has made significant progress and good prospects for exploration and development.Based on the collection of the relevant information about the potassium-rich brine exploration and development on the study area,through the use of a variety of experimental analysis methods,the study focuses on the characteristics of rock sandstone reservoirs,diagenesis and pore characteristics in the study area and analyzes their impact on reservoir properties.Ultimately provide a geological basis for potassium-rich brine reservoir evaluation and further exploration and development.(1)Determine the type of sandstone,structural characteristics,compositional maturity,the structural maturity of the reservoirs in the study area and analyse the impact of petrological to the reservoir properties;Analyse the various types of diagenesis of the reservoir in this area and its impact to the reservoir properties,and make a preliminary determination to the diagenetic stage;(2)Study the type of the pore and throat of the sandstone reservoir,and determine the porosity,permeability of the reservoir and the type of reservoir;In addition through the use of mercury injection,the lower limit of the reservoir properties were determined and classify the type of the reservoir by capillary pressure curve;Analyze the relationship between the quantitative parameters of pore and throat and the reservoir properties;(3)Analyze the the reservoir heterogeneity of inner layer and evaluate the reservoir quality by the synthesis of rock characteristics,diagenesis and pore characteristics.
