This paper presented the method of 3D modeling as well as the principle of ore body reserves calculation,and analyzed the current situation and the trend of them.The result of the paper was studied on the basis of field investigation,combined with the professional books and literature research status at home and abroad.Taking Wu LongGou gold mine of East Kunlun Mountain as an example,a study of 3D modeling and ore body reserves calculation had been reported.Three models had been made:the DTM model of Hongqigou-Shenshuitan gold mine,the model of LM8 ore body and the 3D model of drill hole.In the end,the article calculated the reserves of LM8 ore body.To be specific,the mainly work is described as follows:(1)The DMT model of Hongqigou-Shenshuitan gold mine had been made with the help of MapGIS system.Firstly,this paper made the elevation data of Hongqigou-Shenshuitan vectorization,then translated the form of it into DXF and seted the right X and Y coefficient.Secondly,this DXF file had been imported into Micromine system and had been saved as contour line file.And then,the DTM 3D visualization model had been established.The model lay the foundation for the topography analysis and the comprehensive analysis.(2)The drill hole 3D visualization had been established which was based on the data of mining area.This thesis established a comprehensive database of Wu Longgou gold mine with 225 drilled hole,145 transverse drift,117 trial trench,3 shallow shaft and 13 sampling lines.In the need of establishing 3D models the article designed different types of data forms and inputed data into the corresponding forms which were classified in the comprehensive database.At last,the paper showed the drill hole 3D visualization model and it would do great help to build LM8 ore body model.(3)The 3D model of LM8 ore body had been built.According to the direction of 115° the thesis cuted 173 sections one after another and used the data available to interpret geological bodies and ore bodies and then established the 3D model of LM8 ore body with the TIN technical support.This paper gave an description of horse-stone removal method in the process of modeling complex in ore body.Using the boolean operation to remove horse-stone will improve the accuracy of ore body model.In the following the study built the aggregative model combined with 3D model of the LM8 ore body,the DTM model and the 3D model of drill hole,and this model made comprehensive analysis of ore body possible.(4)On the basis of the 3D models above,the paper had caculated the gold reserves of LM8 ore body.After the assignment of wire frame,the composition sample length and the establishment empty block model,the following begin to reserve estimation and evaluation of orebody reserves.In the end I calculated and evaluated LM8 of Wulonggou gold mine Shenshuitan mining area Huanglonggou ore block,and the total gold reserves achieve 19919.63 kg,and use of the results of geometric polygon method to verify the reliability and evaluate the error,the error rate is 3.04%.
