The Tibet Naruo copper-gold deposit,located in the Mesozoic Tiegelong tectono-magmatic arc at southern margin of Qiangtang terrane and nouthern of Bangong-Nujiang suture zone.It is another gold-rich porphyry copper deposit after Duobuza and Bolong deposit in Tibet.Granite porphyry and granodiorite porphyry are the main ore-bearing porphyry which are output in stocks.The intrusion of porphyry leads to extensive hydrothermal alteration displaying obvious zonation characteristics.Each alteration zone correspondingly forms a series of stringer and fine vein.The ore area is characterized by richness of hydrothermal magnetite,copper and gold deposits are associated with the formation of hydrothermal magnetite.The study of this ore deposit can fully reveals the metallogenic characteristics of porphyry copper in this region,enrich the mineralization theory of high oxidized porphyry copper deposit;it also can establish mineralization model and prospecting criteria,this study has important significance to promote the exploration of the area of the same type deposits.The paper studys the geological features and metallogenic regulation of Narruo copper-gold deposit were studied and the main conclusions are summarized as follows:Naruo porphyry copper-gold deposit is a copper-based and associated gold porphyry deposit,orebody occurs in Cretaceous granodiorite porphyry and Lower Jurassic Sewa formation metamorphosed feldspar quartz sandstone.The research about geological features,combined with geology,geophysical and geochemical study,led to the preliminary view that the deposit is a porphyry copper-gold deposit.The contact zone between Cretaceous granodiorite porphyry and Lower and Middle Jurassic Sewa formation metamorphosed feldspar quartz sandstone in the regional faults impact zone is considered as the favourable metallogenic position.Propylitic alteration zone,polymetal mineralization(malachitization,limonitization et al.),the geochemical prospecting of Cu,Au,Ag,etc with abnormal assemblage and the abnormal assemblage of geophysical prospecting of low magnetism,high polarizability,low resistivity are the best prospecting indicators..In the stduy area,the joint place of the NE strike fault and East-West fault produce Rongna porphyry copper,Duobu taxitic porphyry copper,Nadun copper,Dibaonamugang porphyry copper,therefore the joint place of NE and East-West direction faults is the best place of enrichment.In the study area,copper and gold are highly enrichment,and almost the whole study area shows gold anomalies,and the copper anomalie occurs in the midwest.In summary,the important traget for porphyry copper-glod exploration is northwest of this area.
