Research And Application On GPS-Based Police Vehicle Intelligent Management And Scheduling System

At present,traffic congestion and road condition complicated in big cities go against the rapid reaction of the police force all over the world.With the rapid development of electronics and information technology,the original police vehicle intelligent management system can't meet the nowadays' demand of public security any more.To ensure the security of the people's life and property,and to safeguard the national security,research on the police vehicle intelligent management and scheduling system which exerts advanced computer and communication technology being imperative.There are some problems in police vehicle's management and scheduling,such as conduction across jurisdiction case,use the official vehicles as private purpose,illegally parked and difficult to coordination in outer reconnaissance,etc.By using the advanced GPS global satellite positioning technology,GIS geography information technology,mobile communication technology,GPS vehicle tracking system helps users to monitor and dispatch the vehicle with monitoring and managing centre and vehicle terminal.The users can get the information of vehicle position,speed,driving situation and historical driving situation in the real time.The system can realize the nearby scheduling,distress alert and assistance alert,make the police vehicles'management more reasonable and scientific,the efficiency of police and management level are raised.There mainly works in this paper:Analyses the main technical that the system mainly depends;detail need analysis for police vehicles' management and scheduling;gives the overall design of the system based on computer and communication technology;designs and implements the related interfaces for calling the external information;exerts the algorithm of minimal time and the shortest distance congestion respectively to implement the route choice;and finally,integrated tests of the system and evaluate the software quality.The article scientific analyses the missions of Anti-terrorism and emergent events handling,and gives the information technology process of actual mission.In the traditional static route choice basis,this system can realize dynamic route choice by calling for real-time traffic status.The calling of real-time traffic status contains the information of path length,the average speed of driving,etc.The time of traffic light waiting,which as an important weight,is also contained,more close to real,the physical and logical connection between police GIS and armed police command system is established.It designs and implements the police vehicle intelligent management and scheduling system,which was used successfully in practice.
