The study on trace elements in the coal is of critical significance for the comprehensive utilization and pollution prevention of cold.Results of the research showed that 2#coal of Huangling Mining Area was rich in Ga and Ba.Based upon techniques of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry,X-ray diffraction,microscopy of coal petrology and chromatography-mass spectrometry,this paper analyzed characteristics of geochemistry,mineralogy,coal petrology and organic geochemistry of samples,in order to determine the enrichment mechanism,occurrence state and carrier of some elements.There was a big difference in the distribution of trace elements in 2#coal of Huangling mining area,but the good correlation was also found among elements as a whole,which indicated the stable and homogeneous derivation of the deposit.Ga and Ba were enriched in all mines of the mining area.Meanwhile,Ba-Ga-Sr was a special group of elements in this mining area that they had the different occurrence states and carriers.Minerals in the coal of this mining area were always clay ones,mainly Kaoline minerals.They were also rich in carbonatite,such as calcite,dolomite and witherite.Ga had two occurrence states of inorganic binding and organic binding and their carriers were mainly vitrinite macerals formed by clay minerals and gelification.Ba generally had the occurrence state of inorganic binding and its main carriers were barite(BaSO4)and witherite(BaCO3).Sr had the occurrence state of inorganic binding and its main carriers were strontianite(SrCO3)and contaminated barite.There was the negative correlation between the content of clay minerals and content of carbonate minerals,which mainly caused by the change in the micro-environment of swamp and minerals of deuterogene.The microscopy of coal petrology indicated that the vitrimite content was rich in this mining area,followed by the inertinite.During the coalification,the peat swamp was transformed from the closed swamp to the open one,which had the significant influence on the distribution of major elements and trace elements.Ga was firstly accumulated in the layer of relatively deep water.Elements in the coal were mainly brought by the water flow into the swamp.Matters introduced by the epigenetic reformation were relatively small.HL2 section was nearly to the margin of swamp.Results of the research on the organic geochemistry of coal showed that coal-forming plants in this area were mainly higher gymnosperm.As the source rock,the property and quality of coal in the mining area had the high maturity and it was in the profitable stage of oil-generating.The evolvement trend of hydrocarbon and resultants indicated that there was the catalytic reaction with the participation of clay minerals under the acidic condition during earlier period.The content of carbonate in the swamp was relatively high,making some of parameters possess characteristics of marine deposit.The soluble organic matter had the high content of pristine,which was closely related to the self-evolvement of coal-formed hydrocarbon.
