Wind power is a kind of renewable energy.It is very important of the energy shortage.With the development and utilization of marine resources,the study of ocean wind speed requirements are also increasing.The present study sea surface wind field is mainly used reanalysis data and site observations,However,the reanalysis data has low resolution and very little verification on Chinese ocean areas;and site data has space limitations,and the observed value is affected by the instrument,the special weather is bigger also.By WRF model satellite data can be assimilated in time,space,high precision,accuracy and high speed data,implementation is impossible in the past on the ocean under the different wind speed on the surface of the pad of contrast research,has the important research significance.In this study,the wind on sea of Liaoning in 2008 is simulated by WRF and QuikSCAT assimilation.The result verified the quality of numerical data.The paper also compared the wind of typical areas with different underlying surface in the sea of Liaoning(gulf,strait and islands)to prove some data for production and climate study.Wind simulation by WRF and QuikSCAT assimulation data shows that its quality is better than normal simulation data.By comparing the data of different season we can found that simulate values in Spring and Summer is better than Winter and Autumn.Comparing different areas of the sea of Liaoning we can found that:(1)Between Liaodong Bay and Dalian Bay,the wind speed of Liaodong Bay in Bohai is larger and the phemomenon is obvious in Autumn(October).Between Jinzhou Bay and Liaodong Bay which both in Bohai but different in size,the wind speed in Jinzhou Bay which is smaller is less than Liaodong Bay and the performance is obvious in Winter.It shows that the influence of position and size to bay is not serious in summer.We can see from the daily wind speed change on two groups of bay that Liaodong Bay and Dalian Bay has the maximum difference in Winter.The trend is almost opposite.The times which the wind speed of Liaodong Bay is greater is almost in night.The variation of daily wind speed change between Jinzhou and Liaodong Bay mainly happened in Summer and Spring on day time.(2)Compared Mopanshan Island,Juhua Island and Shan Island,the largest island Juhua Island has the minimum average wind speed,and between Shan Island in the Yellow Sea and Mopanshan Island in Bohai,the wind speed of Shan Island is greater.From the daily change of wind,we can find that the trend of Mopanshan Island an Juhua Island which closed to each other is similar,and the trend of Shan Island in Bohai is more smooth.(3)Compared Bohai strait with Dalian Bay,the wind difference is more obvious in Autumn and Winter than other seasons,the difference is mostly more than 3m/s.In Summer,the wind speed of two places is smaller,as well as the difference.Analysis the daily change of wind velocity,we found that the trend is almost similar.The fluctuation of Bohai strait is more smooth than Dalian Bay.
