Manzhouli-New Barag Right Banner polymetallic ore-forming subzone,located in Inner Mongolia,was an important metallogenic belt of nonferrous metal,precious metal in northeast China.Situated in south margin of this ore-forming belt,Baogedewula has large prospecting potential.Because of the surface ore-prospecting criteria is not obvious,due to the distribution of quaternary superstratum in Baogedewula zone is thick and widely,the traditional geological and geochemical prospecting methods cannot meet the needs of practical work.Therefore,the main prospecting target turn from surface to deep and concealed ?blind ore bodies.In order to find concealed polymetallic deposits in this area,based on ore-prospecting practice in the study area for many years,with the concept of comprehensive prospecting methods and combining with geological,geochemical exploration and drilling results from the different stages,we carried out the large power induced polarization method.Aiming at geochemical anomalies distribution at favourable geological setting,to verify its exception,the measurement of the IP intermediate gradient method has been taken.We choice anastomotic geophysical and geochemical anomaly zone as the key drilling verification area for further ore-prospecting work to guide geological exploration engineering: arrangement of drilling work,through the anomaly center arrangement of induced polarization sounding section method.In this paper,based on regional geology survery,drill log and geochemical exploration result and specimen electrical parameters,we choice Shanagenhuduge molybdenum deposit and Hanggaiyinhundi lead-zinc polymetallic deposit as an example to research the application effect of large power induced polarization method superiority for find Baogedewula concealed polymetallic deposit relying on the analysis of face line and point three aspects,conclude IP prospecting model.Then,we try to provide theoretical basis for the later exploration and effective data support for further drilling design,also provide a useful reference for other similar ore deposit exploration work.
