In the nonlinear circuit and system area,researching how to produce chaotic and hyperchaotic attractors which are complex dynamic behavior has received much attention in recent years.Multi-scroll and multi-wing chaos attractors has rich dynamic behavior,which has a wide range of applications value in the secure communication,image encryption and neural network areas.Therefore,the study of simple structure,implementing easily and more complex multi-scroll or multi-wing chaotic system becomes a key issue for many engineering applications.This paper briefly introduces the research background and significance of multi-scroll and multi-wing chaotic system,and analyzes the domestic and international research status of multi-scroll and multi-wing chaotic system.At the basis of reading a lot of literatures of chaos and analyzing the chaos theory,a novel multi-directional multi-scroll chaotic system and a novel four-dimensional multi-wing chaotic system are carefully proposed,and studied image encryption algorithm based on multi-wing chaotic system.The main work and results of this paper are as follows:(1)A novel multi-directional multi-scroll chaotic system is proposed.First,it proposes a generalized formula of multi-directional multi-scroll chaotic system,by adding the nonlinear functions,and controlling the parameters of system,multi-directional multi-scroll chaotic attractors with different order system can be generated,according to this method,the correctness of generalized formula is verified.Then,analysis basic dynamics of the system,including the dissipativity,equilibrium points,Poincaré section,maximum Lyapunov exponent spectrum and bifurcation diagram.Finally,a 9 dimensional multi-scroll analog oscillator circuit based on TL082 CD devices is designed,which are verified the feasibility of the generalized formula of multi-directional multi-scroll chaotic system.(2)A novel four-dimensional chaotic system for generating multi-wing chaotic attractors is proposed,chaotic and hyper-chaotic attractors are generated in different parameters.Besides,basic dynamical properties of the chaotic system are studied by numerical and theoretical analyses,such as equilibrium point,Poincaré mapping,dissipativity,power spectrum,Lyapunov exponent spectrum,bifurcation diagram.At the same time,an analog oscillator circuit is designed for implemention four-wing hyper-chaotic attractors,it shows a good agreement between the hardware circuit analog experimental results and the numerical simulation results.Last,four-dimensional multi-wing hyper-chaotic system is used for hybrid image encryption of physical chaos encryption and anvanced encryption standard(AES)encryption algorithm,because physical chaos is adopted in this system,there is no assured relationship between plaintexts and ciphertexts,and the statistical characteristics of ciphertexts should be better than that of any other encryption system.
