Abstract/Summary:
In the present era,problems of meteorological disasters and environmental have become a hot social issue.The disastrous effects have been brought to people’s production and life with the increasing atmospheric pollution.However,due to people’s poor awareness of environmental protection such that environment pollution is more and more serious.So enhance people environmental protection consciousness is particularly important especially primary and middle school students.In view of the above problems,the campus weather station and meteorological science knowledge are combined and according to the two situations with network or no network the meteorological science system and stand-alone meteorological science system with multi-station network are designed in this paper.From the function of meteorological science popularization system is divided into three parts:data acquisition,information transfer,and meteorological science display system.Data acquisition module is used to collect and process the meteorological data which includes meteorological elements sensors,microprocessors,GPRS module and serial interfaces.Depending on the different system,information transmission part sends the meteorological data,collected by data acquisition module,to the computer or data server via serial bus or wireless transmission mode.Meteorological science display system mainly includes the server data management and meteorological knowledge display,the former is responsible for receiving and storing of meteorological data,while the latter is responsible for demonstrate knowledge of meteorological science and meteorological data display.Meteorological science knowledge display is the highlight of the meteorological science system,which includes meteorological encyclopedia,meteorological science and technology,data monitoring,disaster prevention and message board and other modules.The function of air quality assessment is also integrated into meteorological science display system,and can realize the prediction of air quality level via the support vector machine algorithm base on genetic algorithm,and receive 93.333%prediction accuracy.According to the prediction of air quality level primary and middle school students can understand people’s perception is often different with real weather data,and also let them know that behind the phenomenon which do not see or feel may exist the problem of atmospheric pollution,which really achieve the meteorological science popularization and strengthening the consciousness of environmental protection.The establishment of two sets of meteorological science system,the students can be very convenient to study meteorological science knowledge and observe meteorological data in two situations with network or no network.At the same time meteorological science knowledge is display via graphic audio and animation can meet the learning needs of students,to achieve the purpose of entertaining.
