Macrobenthos research has been paid much attraction by scholars.A seasonal research of macrobenthos was carried out in Xiuhe from 2012 to 20015.The sampling stations covered three different area in Xiuhe.The macrobenthic community was anglicized by the species richness index,Shannon-Wiener diversity index,Simpson diversity index.The ABC Curve method and SPSS19.0 were adopted to analyze the similarity matrix of macrobenthos.The composition of the dominant species of the macrobenthic community was studied by using calculation of species dominance.The huge covered research area and the method of functional group based on diet habits were also used to study the macrobenthic community composition and diversity.The main conclusions in this research are the following:1.The research showed that 41 species were found in the area.River found 13 kinds of macrobenthic belong to 9 families,the dominate specie is Corbicula fluminea?Chironomus plumosus and Nereis japonica;Shallow lake found 19 kinds of macrobenthic belong to 9 families,the dominate specie is Branchiura sowerbyi?Tubifex sinicus?Clinotanypus sp.?Tanypus sp.?Chironomus plumosus and Bellamya purificata.Deep lake found 32 kinds of macrobenthic belong to 18 families,the dominate specie is Tubifex sinicus.2.Density and biomass of benthic animals have larger changes in each areas.Deep lake's abundance of benthic animals is the largest,biomass of benthic animals in river is the largest.Average biomass in river is 228.450 g/m2 the average density is 71.38 ind./m2 Shallow lakes in the biomass is 102.56 g/m2,the average density is 100.44 ind./m2;Deep lakes in the biomass is 16.051 g/m2,the average density is 620.42 ind/m2.3.The large benthic animal functional group composition and diversity.Depending on the type of diets to scrape benthonic animals into predator,filterer and scraper,collector and shredder five functional feeding groups.Features between different areas,the species composition and quantity is different,river has the largest species of filterer;shallow lake has the largest species of shredder;deep lake has the largest species of scraper.River has the largest number of filterer;shallow lake has the largest number of shredder;deep lake has the largest number of collector.4.The species richness index,Shannon-Wiener diversity index,Simpson diversity index are different in three areas.River highest Simpson diversity index and Pielou evenness index were 0.76 and 0.93;shallow lakes highest Shannon Wiener diversity index wasl.32.5.The results of ABC Curve method indicated that the macrobenthic community is affected by pollution and other human activities,it had been gradually dominated by one or several types of smaller species.
