Located in China's southwestern,Sichuan-Yunnan region has complex geological structure,strong earthquakes,caused huge casualties and property losses,occurred in this area many times in history.Crustal strain characteristics of Sichuan-Yunnan region has important reference value for the analysis of the law of its tectonic movement and seismic risk.With good continuity in time,Continuous strain observation is an important means of crustal deformation observation,which has many unique advantages and characteristics.But all the time,continuous strain observation can only reflect a small range of strain information around the station,the lack of spatial continuity makes it can not fully reflect the Crustal strain information of Sichuan-Yunnan region.This paper studies the strain field information for the Sichuan-Yunnan region,using continuous strain data to calculate regional strain field information through Multi-Kernel Function,and compares with GPS data.In this paper,the main contents and results include:It described the significance and difficulties of the Sichuan-Yunnan region crustal strain field model based on continuous strain data.Discussing the reasons of using Multi-Kernel Function fitting spatial continuous strain data by introducing the characteristics of continuous strain data as well as the theoretical characteristics and application advantages of Multi-Kernel Function.We deduced calculation steps of Multi-Kernel Function model,then discussed issues that require attention and meaning of each parameter.Combining previous study of parameter selection,the general principles of parameter selection,the test steps and the precision statistics calculation formula was given.By calculating the actual data and accuracy test,the value of the model parameters was determined.We completed the regional strain field model in the Sichuan-Yunnan region based on continuous strain data and analyzed the strain characteristics reflected in the Sichuan-Yunnan region.The rudimental attempt of the expansion in spatial continuity of continuous strain data was realized..Preliminary results show that the Multi-Kernel Function was suitable to fitting the single point of continuous strain data in space for the fitting accuracy and reliability were high.The information of the earth's crust strain field in Sichuan-Yunnan region got by continuous strain data and GPS data can support each other in many ways,suggested using continuous strain data to study area space strain field is feasible.Continuous strain data and GPS data indicated that many changes in strain and strain concentration zones were produced in Sichuan-Yunnan region under compression of Plateau crust and wedging action of India plate.In the study period,strainconcentration had a high relatively with the block boundary fracture.showed that the results of this article was consistent with the actual geological structure and crustal movement trend.At the same time,the strain clusters and intense area is also active earthquake zones in the history,indicating that the strain characteristics can reflect some information of seismic risk.
