The interaction and feedback between air pollution and climate change are one of the major environmental issues in the world.Due to the short lifetime, the large spatial and temporal variation and the peak concentration near the emission source, the aerosol pollution can affect the the short-term variation of regional meteorological factors. The impact of aerosol pollution on meteorological factors in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region was investigated in this paper, such as solar radiation, temperature, planetary boundary layer height?PBLH?and precipitation. The quantitative evalution method applying to Chinese situation and the fully coupled online air quality model?Weather Research Forecasting Model with chemistry,WRF-chem?were established to analyze the effect of black carbon aerosol and sulphate aerosol on regional meteorological factors.Furthermore, the results were compared with the correlational studies of America,Europe and India and applied to study the correlational analysis between air pollution index?API?and meteorological factors in 2010.In Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, aerosol pollution has a signafigant effect on the variation of regional solar radiation, temperature,ABLH and rain fall. The scenario analysis results of January,April,July,October in 2010 show that:1)the average monthly solar radiation decreases 18.15,18.50,17.64,23.15 W/m2,respectively;2)the average monthly temperature decreases 0.26,0.17,0.09,0.28°C,respectively;3)the average monthly ABLH decreases 15.36,21.70,15.48,29.73 m,respectively, which reflect the negative impact of aerosol pollution.Compared with America,Europe and India, climatic effect of aerosol is more remarkable for the more serious aerosol pollution in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region. The average monthly APIs in Beijing,Tianjin and Shijiazhuang have a negative correlation with vapour pressure, average temperature and relative humidity and a positive correlation with air pressure and average wind velocity. While both rise and decline of regional temperature could be resulted from aerosol pollution of black carbron, the sulphate aerosol has the ability to decrease the regional temperature. In addition, black carbon and sulphate aerosol could cause the fall of solar radiation and ABLH.When the value of PM2.5.5 is higher than 250?g/m3,there is a more noteworthy climatic effect of black carbon and sulphate aerosol.
