With the globalization of the economy,innovation has become a core advantage of corporate competition.However,it is difficult for enterprises to combine research and development of new technologies and marketization alone,and universities and scientific research institutions with strong scientific research capabilities cannot successfully industrialize research results.I-U-R Cooperative Innovation has become an inevitable trend.With the close connection between science and economy,I-U-R Cooperative Innovation tends to be networked.Therefore,it is meaningful to analyze the structural characteristics of the I-U-R cooperation network,and to effectively use the network to promote the innovation performance.However,existing researches rarely involve I-U-R,and the research objects with large innovation output.Shanxi Province,as a resource-rich province,is in urgent need of research on Shanxi.At the same time,few studies focus on the regulatory mechanisms of variables.Based on this,paper will study the impact of network structure to enterprise innovative performance and the adjustment mechanism of the knowledge based.First,the relevant literatures on the I-U-R cooperation networks,enterprise innovation performance,and knowledge bases are collated.In light of the existing research insufficiency,the content of this paper has been formulated.It also combed resource fundamental theory,social network theory,industry-university-research cooperation theory,and knowledge basic theory,laying the foundation for the construction of theoretical models.Secondly,defining related concepts.Average path length,clustering coefficient,and structural holes are used to measure the structural characteristics of the I-U-R cooperation network,and knowledge breadth and knowledge depth are used to measure the enterprise knowledge base.The theoretical model reveals the direct influence of I-U-R cooperation network structure on the enterprises innovation performance,and the regulatory mechanism of the knowledge base.Again,paper uses the PAJEK complex network analysis software to construct the evolution diagram of I-U-R cooperation network in Shanxi Province,using the patents granted by Shanxi Province from 2007 to 2016 in the BaiTeng(http://www.patexplorer.com/ads.html),the evolution diagram of the cooperation network is based on the social network analysis method and analyzes the network structure.Then,the use of STATA statistical analysis software for descriptive and relevant analysis of sample data,as well as the establishment of the panel data fixed-effect negative binomial regression model for regression,verification of the hypothesis,draw conclusions,and improve the enterprises innovation performance and Shanxi Province to improve innovation outputs put forward relevant policy recommendations.Finally,point out the limitations of this paper and future research directions.Based on the above logic,paper mainly draws conclusions in five aspects: First,average path length negatively affects the enterprise innovation performance.The greater the average path length,the more unfavorable the innovation output.Second,clustering coefficient is in a U-shaped relationship with innovation performance.After a certain threshold is exceeded,the increase of the clustering coefficient has a significant effect on the enterprise innovation performance.Third,structural holes negatively affect enterprise innovation performance.Increasing the structural holes is not conducive to generating trust and negatively affecting innovation output.Fourth,the knowledge breadth weakens the influence of average path length,clustering coefficient,and structural holes on enterprise innovation performance,and its regulatory effect is significant.Fifth,the knowledge depth has weakened the impact of structural holes on enterprise innovation performance,and its regulatory role has been significant.However,the adjustment of the relationship between the average path length and clustering coefficient and enterprise innovation performance is not significant.This paper innovatively constructed the I-U-R cooperation network in Shanxi Province,and based on the analysis method of social networks,it verifies the characteristics of network structure: the average path length,clustering coefficient,and structural holes on enterprise innovation performance.The study enriches the relevant theories,forming theoretical achievements with local characteristics of Shanxi,has certain practical significance for the promotion of I-U-R cooperation innovation in Shanxi Province.In addition,based on the perspective of the enterprise knowledge base,this paper examines the adjustment mechanism of the knowledge base on the relationship between the cooperation network structure and the enterprise innovation performance,expands the research ideas of the cooperation network,and the conclusions of this paper also provide practical guidance to enterprises participating in the cooperation between industry,universities,and research institutes to increase innovation output.
