As the last link of the fresh agricultural products supply chain,the operational efficiency of the retail terminal is largely determined by inventory management level,and the scientific and reasonable inventory optimization strategy is an effective way to improve the inventory management level.In view of this,the inventory control of fresh agricultural products in retail terminals is taken as the research object in this dissertation.This dissertation constructed an inventory control model of a single non-transient metamorphic product with time-varying freshness from the perspective of optimizing the inventory strategy,studied the inventory problems and optimization strategies of fresh agricultural products in retail terminals.First,explained the background and significance of the topic of inventory control of fresh agricultural products retail terminal,and laid the research direction.This dissertation discussed the research status of the influencing factors of perishable inventory management and the fresh agricultural products supply chain,pointed out the deficiencies of the existing research: few study on the quantity loss and quality degradation of fresh agricultural products due to metamorphism.Few study considered the impact of price,deterioration,and business hours discontinuities on demand rates.There was less research on the inventory of non-transient metamorphic products.Secondly,based on the characteristics of fresh agricultural products and the operating characteristics of fresh agricultural products at the retail terminal,analyzed of the inventory control function and influential factors of fresh agricultural products in retail terminals.Research shows that: fresh produce usually has a certain shelf life,if the inventory strategy neglect the effect of shelf life for demand of fresh agricultural produce,it will deviate from the actual production and operation.In addition,due to the characteristics of the retail terminals operating in different time periods,the deterioration of the fresh produce that beyond the shelf life at non-business hours has a direct impact on the demand rate on the next sales day.Therefore,frequent pricing promotion is an effective way to drive the increase of demand,avoid product damage caused by deterioration,and increase the profitability of the entire ordering cycle of retail terminals.Then,this dissertation constructed the demand function of retail terminal,according to the metamorphism of fresh agricultural products at retail terminals,the impact of quality and price on demand and the characteristic of demand discontinuity.An ordering pricing inventory control model based on the inventory models of Ghare and Schraer was established.Finally,this dissertation took the operation of a retail terminal in Tianjin as an example,based on the parameters collected and collated,using Python to solve the model,made a sensitivity analysis for deterioration rate,shelf life and inventory holding costs,put the corresponding management recommendations according to the analysis results,provide the scientific theoretical basis and decision-making support for the actual operation of the fresh agricultural products at the retail terminal,and provide reference for fresh agricultural products inventory management.
