In today's world,the eternal unchanging is ever changing.To cope with change,only continuous innovation can the enterprise can achieve the long-term development.Innovation is the soul of an enterprise,and determines its survival and development,so the enterprise must seek development through innovation.Innovation is the core of service,the service innovation is an effective way to improve enterprise performance,and help the enterprise improve t its service level and the quality of service.In addition,Innovation is the survival of an enterprise.For businesses and markets,Service innovation refers to the enterprise is a brand-new service products or services process,its aim is to create value for service stakeholders.The service has the characteristics of non-storage,intangible,and difficulty to separate the consumption and production,these unique features clearly distinguish service innovation from traditional product innovation.It not only needs all kinds of tangible and intangible technical knowledge and abilities from the enterprise itself,but also needs more construction of enterprise external network relations in order to obtain and integrate all kinds of resources ability or skill.In fact,due to the environment is increasingly becoming networked,enterprises establish external relationships with other organizations,these relationships are gradually formed its external social network.Therefore,if enterprises want to obtain valuable information from the external social network,they must have the ability to use these resources to improve their service innovation performance.The network capability of an enterprise is the ability to begin to understand the external network,and to process,utilize and develop the network relationship.Good network capability can help an enterprise to enhance its overall position in a network,it can also make the enterprise to obtain a large number of resources from the network partners.In the enterprise network relationship,each enterprise's network capacity is different,its network structure is also very different.In terms of collecting resources and processing information,if an enterprise has good networking ability,and in a good network position,so the enterprise will be more competitive.Nowadays,the academia begins to study the influence on the enterprise service innovation from the perspective of network capability and network structure.However,most of the scholars only describe the influence qualitatively,but still seldom carry on the quantitative research.How to improve the performance of service innovation is the core issue of scholars.Previous studies have proved that the external network relationship has significantly effect on service innovation performance.Of course,there are a lot of perspectives from researches on service innovation,and it is also an important perspective from network capability and network organization.Enterprises can build external relationships through network capabilities to obtain scarce key resources,but it can promote service innovation and improve innovation performance,but it will be affected by network structure.Therefore,how to improve the network ability to influence the enterprise service innovation? How does the enterprise network structure affect the service innovation? These contents are of great significance.Based on the previous theoretical study on social network,ability theory and service innovation,this paper combines these theories with empirical research methods,by reviewing the previous researches on network capability,network structure and service innovation,its purpose is to analyze how the network capability,network structure have impact on service innovation performance respectively.To prove the hypotheses,this research sent 500 questionnaires out to the mid-level managers in the companies,data collection and questionnaire survey are though site distribution,mailing and sending emails,in the last 298 questionnaires were available.After the analysis of SPSS19.0 and AMOS17.0 software,this paper builds the SEM,then carry out hypothesis verification stage.The results shows:(1)There is a significantly negative relationship between a firm's network planning capability and its service innovation performance including the financial performance and non-financial performance;(2)There is non-significantly positive relationship between an enterprise's network management capability and its service innovation performance including the financial performance and non-financial performance;(3)There is a significantly positive relationship between a firm's relationship management capability and its service innovation performance including the financial performance and non-financial performance;(4)Enterprise's network size has non-significantly positive impact on financial performance and non-financial performance of service innovation;(5)Enterprise's network centrality and network stability have remarkably active influence on its service innovation performance including the financial performance and non-financial performance.In this paper,the author draws the conclusion that enterprise managers should use networking ability to construct network relationships according to the network structure,so as to obtain the key scarce resources and drive service innovation.These results enrich current understanding of service science and network capability theory,which provides some managerial implication for company to achieve high service performance.
