Abstract/Summary:
The evolution and the innovation on the communication technology contributed to the rapid development of communication equipment technology and growing market,these manufacturing enterprises have ever earned generous profits on equipment sales.But With the coming 4g technology and the Internet era,the net profit will come under pressure as a result of the recession and the competition in the industry,each telecommunication equipment manufacturer must review their business roadmap and product strategy,so as to seek new approaches to maintain competitive advantage actively.Ericsson(Ericsson Communications Co.LTD)as one multinational company is in a leadership position in the fields of telecommunication equipments and services in China and global market.Keeping the core competitive ability is always as one important strategy for the goal of sustainable development for the enterprise.In this paper,based on the research of the theory of core competence,first expounds the current situation of Ericsson and the facing problems,especially in Chinese market,and then on account of the current circumstances which combined opportunities and challenges,how Ericsson analysis and enhance their core competitiveness to keep their competitive advantages in the competition and approach the goal of sustainable development for the enterprises.Through the research,the author tentatively tried to analysis how Ericsson as the industry-leading company identified and improved its product research and service strategy so as to strengthen the enterprise’s core competence.Furthermore,hope this paper would be useful of the theory study and enterprise practice for the domestic telecom equipment enterprises,to establish and enhance their core competitiveness by providing certain theoretical supporting points and practical experience.This study result hopes to be capable of offering a reference for the development of the domestic telecom equipment enterprises and achieve the goal of remarkable growth.
