Study On Supplier Selection Of ABC Company

Auto parts industry has developed rapidly with the continuous development of the automotive industry.More and more auto parts manufacturers enter the market which enlarges the scope and intensifies the competition in the industry.As an auto parts manufacturer,ABC Company needs to implement the global centralized purchasing strategy under such competition circumstances to reduce its total cost.Therefore,it is urgent for ABC Company to optimize its supplier's selection and assessment system.The AHP theory and procedures has been introduced firstly which also demonstrated in the application of MES cabling project supplier selection for ABC Company.The supplier selection model is based on collective opinions from three experts.We did calculation analysis regarding weights of factors and set up an evaluation system.Firstly,consistency tests to verify the quantitative data.Secondly,respective KPI weights and total scores.Thirdly,respective average scores.Finally,choose the supplier accordingly.ABC's classification of purchased goods and the supplier selection methods based on the four major categories is introduced in the paper as well.With the implementation of AHP in MES cabling project to choose the supplier,it offered a comparatively scientific supplier selection model for future procurement of enterprises.Meanwhile,it provided a good example to the relevant Enterprise to choose supplier.
