Insurance Agency Companies Operating Efficiency Research In China

With the growth of total insurance assets and the continuous expansion of the market size,the insurance industry has quietly changed its position in economic development and livelihood security.The insurance agency market has grown from scratch and has become the main source of insurance revenue,playing a significant role in the insurance market as a whole.However,at the same time as the rapid development of the insurance agency industry,insurance agencies also have many problems.In recent years,the insurance agency industry has maintained a good momentum of development,but the efficiency of insurance agencies is not high,which directly led to the insurance agents' function and role can not be a good play.In the current research on efficiency assessment,data envelope,analytic hierarchy process,and factor analysis have been the three mainstream methods.In order to give full play to the role of insurance agencies in promoting the insurance industry,this paper introduces the data envelope method into the efficiency assessment of the insurance agency industry.First,it briefly analyzes the current operating efficiency of Chinese insurance agencies and builds on this basis.This paper introduces the application of data envelopment analysis in the evaluation of the efficiency of insurance intermediaries.Finally,it puts forward some methods and approaches for how to solve the problems in insurance agencies.It is hoped that this will benefit the research of insurance agency efficiency.Based on the comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry efficiency measure progress,this paper uses data envelopment analysis to measure the efficiency of10 representative insurance agencies from 2012 to 2016,measuring the efficiency of mainly includes the comprehensive technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of three kinds of efficiency,and using the Malmquist index method for dynamic analysis of the sample.At the same time,based on the empirical research and analysis,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the operation efficiency of insurance agents in China.Through the research of this paper,we realize that insurance agents play an active role in promoting the innovation and development of insurance industry and improving the service level of insurance industry.Through the research on the efficiency of insurance agent company,the development policy of insurance agent company is provided for reference.In real sense,through scientific statistical method in combination with the actual statistical data of our country insurance agency companies operating efficiency ofthe empirical research conclusion put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,for the government and insurance companies has a great practical significance,innovation is planted in China can be more sure insurance agency for the new direction of the development of the insurance company.This article is divided into five chapters altogether,the basic contents of each chapter are as follows: the first chapter mainly introduces the research background and research significance of the article,the related literature at home and abroad were reviewed,elaborated the paper research ideas and research methods and innovation points and deficiencies are pointed out.The second chapter introduces the concept of efficiency of insurance agent company.The third chapter elaborates the method of evaluating efficiency,and then introduces the DEA-Malmquist model used in the article,which lays the foundation for the following.The fourth chapter is the dynamic assessment of the operating efficiency of 10 representative agencies in the insurance agency market in2012-2016 in China through the construction of a DEA model.The model is constructed first,and then the input and output indicators are selected and the data The source explains and finally assesses the operating efficiency of insurance agency companies from both static and dynamic aspects.The fifth chapter is based on the basis of the previous chapters,and provides corresponding countermeasures for improving the efficiency of China's insurance agency market.
