Research On Environmental Cost Accounting Of YL Coal Chemical Group Company

With the deepening of China's supply side structural reform,YL Coal Chemical Group Co.,Ltd.is faced with problems like excess capacity and the increasing expenditure on the environment.To defeat opponents in market competition,the company has no choice but to develop new products and reduce the environmental cost,so it is of great importance to apply a more accurate environmental cost accounting method.The paper aims to explore an effective way to provide reference and help for the environmental cost accounting of the company and other enterprises in the industry,so that companies will remain invincible in the fierce competition.Among existing literature at home and abroad,the literature on enterprise environmental cost accounting all elaborates from the perspective of environmental cost theory,while little of it focuses on enterprise case studies.In this paper,we included in the accounting the influence of the whole production process of YL Coal Chemical Group Co.,Ltd.on the environment,and set an environmental account for the company,so it could calculate the total environmental cost and the unit product environmental cost more accurately.On the basis of that,we compared the optimized environmental cost accounting method with the original one,and found that the former could better reflect the composition of environmental cost of the company's products.The paper consists of six parts: the first part mainly introduces the background and meaning of the topic,and the research status of foreign and domestic environmental cost;the second part mainly elaborates the dominant view and development process of environmental cost accounting;in the third part,the status quo of environmental cost accounting of YL Coal Chemical Group Co.,Ltd.is analyzed,and the necessity and feasibility of optimizing the company's environmental cost accounting method is accessed;the fourth part displays the overall design of the application of environmental cost accounting method for the company based on production process;the fifth part calculates the environmental cost using the environmental cost accounting method based on production process,and compares it with the original method;after the comparison,a conclusion is drawn in the sixth part that managers should improve the existing environmental cost accounting method,and adjust the productionof methanol as well as develop other products with low environmental costs.
