Research On The Relationship Among Open Innovation, Enterprise Knowledge Heterogeneity And Innovation Performance

Innovation is the soul of enterprises' survival and development and an important source of enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises.Open innovation provides a favorable environment for enterprises to enhance their innovative performance,and knowledge heterogeneity plays an important role in cultivating core competence and innovation performance.With the enhancements of China's international competitiveness,the innovation ability of enterprises has also been improved rapidly,but there is still a certain gap compared with other developed countries.In the rapid development of the market economy,the increasingly fierce international competition and the deepening of the shared economy,the enterprises actively strengthen cooperation with the outside,absorb,utilize and digest external knowledge,speed up the innovation capability of enterprises,enhance the output of innovation performance,and it is very important for the enterprise to form the core competitiveness.Since the theory of open innovation was put forward,experts and scholars have conducted in-depth research and combined different research objects to enrich and improve the theory of open innovation.In recent years,the theory of enterprise knowledge management has also been introduced as an important factor in the relationship between open innovation and enterprise innovation performance.From the perspective of knowledge base,it is an important research topic to study how to control the heterogeneity of internal and external knowledge,and improve the enterprises innovation performance under the environment of open innovation.First of all,this paper analyzes the current development situation of our country enterprise innovation,combs and reviews research situation on the open innovation,enterprise knowledge heterogeneity and innovation performance theory,grasps the latest theoretical achievements on open innovation,sums up the theory model of enterprise innovation performance,analyzes the research angle on enterpriseknowledge heterogeneity,and divide the enterprise knowledge heterogeneity into technical knowledge heterogeneity,management knowledge heterogeneity and market knowledge heterogeneity.On the basis of theoretical analysis and conclusion,the models and assumptions of this study are proposed.Then,on the basis of combing and referring to the existing research scale,this study combines with the current situation of the enterprise innovation in our country,designs the questionnaire scale.After that,this study uses the quantitative and qualitative research methods,the data collected from the questionnaire survey to make an empirical analysis.It analyzes the relationship and impact mechanism between open innovation,enterprise knowledge heterogeneity and the innovation performance of enterprises deeply.Through the correlation analysis and regression analysis of data,this study shows that(1)Open width of the open innovation has significant positive impacts on the enterprise innovation performance,but the relationship between enterprise knowledge heterogeneity with its regulating function and enterprise innovation performance is relatively complicated.(2)There is a reverse U curve correlation between internal knowledge heterogeneity and innovation performance,and internal knowledge heterogeneity has positive regulating impacts on the open width of open innovation and innovation performance.(3)There is a significant inverse U curve relationship between the technological knowledge heterogeneity and the innovation performance of enterprises,but it has no significant regulating impact on open innovation and the innovation performance of enterprises.(4)The management knowledge heterogeneity among enterprises with its regulating effect have no significant impact on enterprise innovation performance.(5)There is a positive influence between market knowledge heterogeneity among enterprises and enterprise innovation performance,but the market knowledge heterogeneity among enterprises has significant negative regulating impacts on open innovation and enterprise innovation performance.Finally,based on empirical analysis and hypothesis verification results,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the innovation performance ofenterprises,analyzes the shortcomings of this study,and put forwards the prospects for future research.
