Coal is the basic energy in China,accounting for about 70%of the primary energy production and consumption.And the electricity coal accounts for more than half the total consumption.The distribution of coal resources,the distribution of productive forces and the characteristics of energy structure in China determine the important role of coastal transportation of coal electricity in "transport coal from north to south" and"sea-rail combined transport".With the improvement of the coal market and the change of the coal demand,the power generation group has formed an integrated industrial structure of coal production,inventory and transportation.In this pattern,the research to coal shipping and inventory integrated optimization problem,which not only can meet the demand of coastal power plant coal but also reduce high logistics cost,has very important significance.This paper systematically summarizes the analysis of marine inventory routing problem,combined with the characteristics of coal shipping and coal stocks,multi type,finite planning period of coal shipping inventory routing problem.To meet the demand of power plant,power plant coal inventory capacity,It constructs a space-time network model with the objective to minimize total cost of the electricity coal’s maritime inventory-routing.It determines the electricity coal’s supplement time,supplement amount,the loading port,ship deployment and the routes for every ship,etc.Then,according to the characteristics of the model,it puts forward a corresponding algorithm.The correctness and effectiveness of the model is verified by analyzing a series of small-scale examples.At last,a case study of some power generation company’s coal maritime inventory-routing problem is carried out.It turns out that total cost reduced by 6.7%,from 47569 thousand yuan to 44371 thousand yuan.
