As science and information technology progress,human is playing an ever important role in business competition at modern times.Success among corporations largely depends on human being.In addition,competition worldwide in business unfolds in form of human resources,which has become the utmost resources for any corporation,especially during times of “internet +”.Accordingly,importance of HR department also sees dramatic change,and equals corporation HR strategy,in which performance rating management is vital.Meanwhile,performance rating is also of core value to the whole corporation management.To conclude,excel in performance evaluation is not only very important for human resource management,but also significant for corporation management.Recently,at the backdrop of economic slowdown in domestic market,contributed by aging society and diminishing population bonus,the overall micro-economic climate is becoming more uncertain,due to changes on economic structure,internet+,and data cloud.As a result,corporation competition is getting fiercer,and medium and small-sized enterprises are facing more challenging environment.To survive and even grow in such fiercely competing market,SMEs need to learn and study exemplary management experience from companies at home and abroad,apart from actively adjust themselves to the changing market,focus on innovation of goods and service,to seek profit from organizational improvement,and to attract the talented to stay by putting more effort and resources on talent nurturing,for higher performance.H Company is one among other medium and small-sized companies,founded by the government.Though it tried different methods to improve performance rating,due to certain reasons,nothing substantial has been achieved.In accordance,performance evaluation cannot prevail,and has caused counter-effect to the worse,where willingness by the employee has been negatively affected.This thesis is dedicated to investigate on current performance rating status in H Company,by talking to its employees and handing out questionnaires,after narration of performance rating and relative theories,and to summarize problems in existence and reasons behind based on the investigation and data collection.In this context,BSC theory will be applied to fix these problems,with detail discussion on the improvement,in hope that these measures can be useful to perfect performance rating,inspire willingness by employees,and to ensure employees share same target with corporation,further enhanceperformance rating,and to guarantee the fulfillment of corporation strategy.
