An Empirical Study On The Impact Of Sustainable Development On Enterprise Performance

Since twenty-first century,the problems of energy shortage,environmental pollution and corporate responsibility have been paid more and more attention.The Third Plenary Session of the 16 th CPC Central Committee had put forward the scientific concept of development and pursued a comprehensive,coordinated and sustainable development.The healthy development of enterprises can not be separated from the performance evaluation of enterprises.The sustainable development of enterprises needs scientific,reasonable and comprehensive enterprise performance evaluation,which can guide enterprises to a better direction.Enterprise performance can comprehensively reflect the operating efficiency and business performance of the enterprises during the period of operation.The comprehensive enterprise performance can indicate the direction of the development of the enterprise,enterprises can learn from each other and discover the potential of the development.At present,most of our enterprises evaluate the performance of corporate with financial indicators,it is difficult to adapt to the new environment,enterprises urgently need to innovate the enterprise performance evaluation methods to adapt to the new economic development environment.Based on the theory of sustainable development,this paper combs the evolution of enterprise theory,draws lessons from the domestic and foreign enterprise performance experience,explores the influence factors of sustainable development on enterprise performance,discusses and tries to carry out empirical research.Firstly,it discusses the theoretical and practical significance of sustainable development and corporate performance,analyzes the theoretical and practical significance of the impact on the performance of enterprises from the perspective of sustainable development.By discussing the origin and development of sustainable development theory,it is assumed that sustainable development is based on “capital”.This paper constructs the sustainable development ability of enterprises from the four values of material capital,human capital,social capital and ecological capital as the starting point,and analyzes the influencing factors of sustainable development theory to enterprise performance in detail.Secondly,the paper analyzes the current situation and the challenges of sustainable development and enterprise performance in China.Then,this paper uses the data of Chinese manufacturing industry listed companies 2013-2015 to carry on the empirical test,and draws the conclusions.Finally,the paper analyzes and summarizes the conclusions of this paper,puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures on the performance management of sustainable development,and points out the shortcomings and prospects of this paper.This paper starts from the correlation between sustainable development and enterprise performance,and aims to guide enterprises to apply the concept of sustainable development correctly to the enterprise performance,improve the competitiveness of enterprises and improve the sustainable development ability of enterprises.
