Research On The Problem Of China's Middle Income Trap Under The New Normal

China's economic development has entered a new normal.It is a major strategic judgment made by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the characteristics of China's current economic development and its trend in the coming period since the eighteenth National People's Congress.Present China faces the urgent historical task of building a well-off society in an all-round way,as well as the realistic challenge of the “middle-income trap”.The thirteenth five-year plan is a critical period of building a moderately prosperous society,as well as an important period in China to across the middle income trap.As the world's largest socialist country,China's successful striding over the middle income trap is not only a substantial step in achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on the road,but also a great new contribution for the whole world.Through comparative study,this paper sorts out the prominent features of Latin American's falling into middle class income and summarizes its main reasons.Combined with the current situation of China's social development,it also provides a historical reference for China to leap across the trap.Meanwhile,this paper also describes the successful experiences of Japan's and South Korea's crossing the middle income trap,so as to experience and reference into our attempt.The study shows that the reasons Latin American countries caught into the middle income trap also,more or less,exist in China,and the basis depended on which Japan and South Korea passed the trap is indeed existing in a way.Therefore,while on the road to skip the “middle-income trap”,China must not only control risks,but also strengthen its confidence.Through the research and analysis of China's “middle-income trap” under the new normal,the following conclusions are drawn: Faced with the challenge of middle income trap,China must be under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.It must adhere to the drive of innovation to promote the supplemental structural reform in the economy,firmly insist on the guiding position of Marxism in the politics,continue to strengthen soft power in cultural field,lay emphasis on a balanced social development,persist in green ecological proliferation.In short,as long as we attach sufficient importance to the harmfulness of the “middle income trap” and take the right path of crossing the “middle income trap”,we can achieve our goal of crossing the “middle income trap” under the new normal.
