CA Bank Competitiveness Research

As subsequent financial institutions in China's financial system,by the deepening of reform,the courage to open up,to seek innovation,city commercial banks have to explore their own path of development in the fierce competition market.They not only promoted the development of private economy,but also played more important role in China's economic system.They also maintained social stability and achieved good profit results.But most city commercial banks lacked excellent risk controlling mechanism and effective measures.They also cannot get the upper hand of the development path of their own.Compared to large banks and the joint-stock commercial banks,city commercial banks have to find their own position.They must take full advantage of themselves.Especially with the new banking institutions emerging and narrowing of interest return rate,increasing competition between banks,city commercial banks in the competition to survive and develop,improve their competitiveness is the inevitable choice,so as to ensure business continuity,stability and healthy development.Therefore,it is of great significance for city commercial banks to strengthen the competitiveness and strictly control risks by selecting the key indicators of competitiveness and building the model.This paper introduces the research status of competitiveness at home and abroad,and then it defines the related concepts which are including the enterprise competitiveness and the competitiveness of commercial banks.Then it reviews the present status of CA bank.Furthermore,combined by rating system of CAMELs,according to with the features of city commercial banks,it establishes competitiveness evaluation indexes of city commercial banks in our country.Then it studies the research samples which are from the CA bank and seven listed city commercial banks,it is an empirical study of the competitiveness of CA bank by using the factor analysis method.Then it achieves the course which is the relative to competitiveness rankings for study samples.Also the course has been conscientious analyzed.Finally,on the basis of the results of empirical analysis,this paper put forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the competitiveness of CA bank.
