Research Of Purchasing Risk For EPC Project Of A Company

A company is the branch of CNPC in oversea engineering construction,which is engaged in oil and gas refining as the main business.EPC contract,is gradually accepted by the owner with its advantages in cost,quality and time limit.It becomes the main management mode of international engineering projects.With current international economic situation change and competition,Chinese government launched One Belt And One Road.A company play an important role in central Asian gas production area.EPC project generally was with characteristics as following: large investment,long construction period,higher management level,strict production conditions and special safety requirements,strict engineering quality standard,construction difficulty,and the characteristics of complex participants,etc.For EPC project,procurement is not only providing key goods but services as an important part.It also occupies a large percentage of more than 50% 0f total project cost.So procurement can be completed smoothly or not,determining the whole project investment risk and income.All in all,researching in procurement risk management is very important.In theory,this paper is mainly to research risk theory,and discusses the EPC project management,which laies theoretical foundation;In practice,this paper firstly introduces the general situation of A company,and narratis purchasing management problems;then using flow chart with expert discussion method identifies the risk and risk factors,then using the questionnaire survey for further confirmation and recognition;and then,using analytic hierarchy process(ahp)analies and evaluating all kinds of risk and risk factoes;lastly this paper puts forward measures for all kinds of risk factors and suggestions for monitoring.risk management is a dynamic process,and risk factors will always change with the project in different stages,so risk management measures should adjust at any time.Therefore,we should use of the changing viewpoint,objective,developing dialectical materialism to identify,analysis and deal with risk in the process of risk management.
