The Investigations About The Oil And Gas Cooperation Between China And Kazakhstan

Due to rapid economic development,industrialization and urbanization,the increase of electric power consumption in daily life,demand for oil and natural gas continues to grow.It not only determines China's energy intensive,but also makes China's energy supply scarcer,and energy saving problems become more serious.National energy security is one of the most important strategic objectives for the present day and the coming future.China's oil shortage in year 2005 amounted to 50-60 million tons,thus country's energy demand can only be met by 1/3 of that,therefore Chinese businessmen and the Chinese government of are very interested in Kazakhstan's energy resources,especially in the oil.Dependence on imported oil has weakened China's energy security.The solution to this problem is Therefore,to find a stable oil and gas supply,which will be able to ensure China's energy security.Kazakhstan's oil and gas consumption is limited to production capacity,which means Kazakhstan holds enough oil and gas resources for export.Kazakhstan has no direct access to the sea,so Kazakhstan uses Russian pipelines to transport oil and gas,which means that Kazakhstan is subject to Russian control.In short,Kazakhstan`s and China's oil and gas cooperation is mutually beneficial;it will help to solve the oil and gas problems for both sides.This dissertation researches the main advantages of the oil and gas cooperation between two countries,oil and gas resources,the Silk Road Economic Zone,etc.,the present situation of oil and gas cooperation between China and Kazakhstan,oil and gas cooperation projects and future prospects;and by taking comparison analysis this article analyzes the oil and gas reserves,production and consumption;and also did trend forecast analysis to predict the development trend in the future.This analysis has very important theory significance and the practical significance for improve the scale and the level of the oil and gas cooperation between two countries in the future.Thanks to the above analysis some countermeasures and suggestions about the development of oil and gas cooperation between China and Kazakhstan for two countries will be made in order to promote the cooperation.
