Psychological Damage Rooted in Occupation(PDRO)was a negative psychological response to the inferior occupational situation,and leaded to negative results in terms of cognition,emotion,attitudes and behavior,which included psychological barren and escape forced.Based on the theory of emotional infection and stress crossover,Psychological Damage Rooted in Occupation could crossover in organization.Once the environment allowed or even supported the psychological damage to crossover in the organization,the individual psychological damage would eventually evolved into the group,and influenced the efficiency,production and development of the organization.This paper studied the crossover of PDRO in organization,and made a systematic study on crossover medium,crossover path,crossover process,influence factors and intervention measures.Theoretical analysis about assimilation burnout with group character have been finished,and the result as following.The crossover medium of PDRO in organization were emotion and behavior.The crossover path could be divided into four types according to the organizational structure and the crossover medium: emotional crossover on the command chain,behavior crossover on the command chain,emotional crossover on the work chain and behavior crossover on the work chain.The crossover mechanism referred to the crossover process of PDRO in the organization,which was divided into three stages: psychological damage,negative expression and damage perception.In addition,the crossover of PDRO in the organization was affected by demographic variables and organizational characteristics.Based on questionnaire survey of 352 employees,firstly,we studied the differences of psychological damage,negative expression and damage perception in demographic factors by using independent sample T test and single factor analysis of variance.Secondly,the whole model was used to analyze the mesomeric effect of emotional energy on damage perception and PDRO.Finally,the regulatory effect of organizational characteristics on the crossover of PDRO was studied by regression analysis.The main conclusions were as follows:(1)There were significant differences in psychological damage,negative expression and damage perception in demographic factors,especially the rank,gender and marital status.(2)There was a partial mesomeric effect of emotional energy on damage perception and PDRO.(3)There was a partial regulatory effect of organizational characteristics on the crossover of PDRO,especially the leadership style,interpersonal atmosphere,organizational justice.Finally,based on the conclusions of empirical research,we proposed some measures to protect individual and organizational psychological health from improving inferior occupational situation and intervention on crossover of PDRO aspect.
