Analysis On The Development Strategy Of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) From Perspective Of Food Safety

Community Supported Agriculture(CSA)is based on the support of community residents.According to the needs of the community residents,the producer of agricultural products produce healthy and safe agriculture products in a green and ecological way.And they are distributed to the residents of the community home.As a new management mode and production organization form,agriculture is based on the theory of hierarchy of needs,the theory of multiple functions of agriculture and the theory of sustainable development of agriculture.In the process of steady economic development,community support agriculture can meet the health needs of community residents,health,green agricultural products more urgent needs.Japan,the United States,Europe and China and other countries to support the development of community agriculture is all the same,but their business model has its own character.Typical representatives of Chinese Community Supported Agriculture include:Beijing small donkey as a representative of the public garden CSA,Guangdong,Huizhou to share the seasons represented by the congregation raised CSA,a kind of recognized species represented by Wuxi blue sky green ecological farm.CSA has unique characteristics in food safety guarantee mechanism.Through the cooperation of community production mechanism,community support mechanism,community participation mechanism,community docking mechanism and community supervision mechanism,CSA can ensure the food healthy and safety.In the case of Q-G RURAL in Yantai,in 2007,the number of members of the farm grew at an annual rate of more than 10%.Currently,the farm has reached more than 900 members.The annual turnover of the farm is more than 500 yuan.Its speed is much faster than the general agricultural growth rate.The successful experience of the farm is: the traditional mode of production to ensure the safety of agricultural production,fast delivery system to keep food fresh and timely,diversified business innovation to meet the individual needs of customers,fill the market gap to create value for customers.Through the survey of 200 customers on the farm,the customers of the farm are mainly young and middle-aged,highly educated and middle and highincome groups.The highest customer expectations are the health,hygiene and freshness of the product.This is the main reason why the farm is popular with customers.The development of CSA needs to overcome many problems,including the producer's own production system,the imperfect marketing system,and the misunderstanding of CSA.Based on the above problems,we can start from the aspects of producer.we can win the trust of consumers in the quality of products and services.But we should not be confined to these two areas.We can also achieve sustainable development of CSA through the government policy support and social support.
