The Influence Of The Demographic Dividend To Economic Growth In Heilongjiang Provience

As an old industrial base with high resource endowment,Heilongjiang's economic growth declines slightly in recent years.Low birth rate and aging issues have already hindered its economic growth.It has become the key path and important basic problem for Heilongjiang to realize the new revitalization of Northeast China by giving full play to demographic dividend in the economic growth.Based on the preliminary analysis of population data from 1975 to 2015 in Heilongjiang Province,we define the proxy variable of Heilongjiang population dividend as household consumption,household savings and labor input synthesizing the connotation and measurement method of the present demographic dividend.According to the data from 1985 to 2015 in Heilongjiang Province,Eviews was used to carry out the least squares fitting based on time series co-integration on Heilongjiang's GDP deflator,household consumption,household savings and employed population.It shows that labor input,household savings and household consumption are positively correlated with GDP deflator in Heilongjiang,whose influence on GDP successively decline.Based on the empirical study of demographic dividend on the economic growth of Heilongjiang,it should improve the labor resource rate,perfect the social security mechanism,encourage the upgrade of household consumption and perfect the fertility policy to realize the economic growth under the new revitalization of Northeast China.
