Creativity as a source of innovation in today's unprecedented fierce competition,rapidly changing era of information technology is particularly important.Scholars have emphasized from the perspective of the work situation to discover and understand the importance to enhance the creativity of influence factors and mechanism of action,and the team-member exchange as one of the important contextual factors organization,its impact on creativity has not been enough attention.Team-member exchange reflects a working relationship with members of the team overall quality of the overall perception,referring to a member to help other members,ideas and feedback will and obtain information from other members to help and recognition degree.Although the team has become prevalent as job design,team-member exchange has been the concern of many scholars.But now on the team-member exchange research often only the team-member exchange as an intermediary and moderator,or only concerned about team-member exchange(input)and individual creativity(output)is directly related to the failure to clearly reveal the the process mechanism(process),for the team-member exchange is how(how),under what conditions and issues that affect(when)individual creativity would be difficult to clearly answer.To open the team-member exchange affect the individual creativity process mechanism "black box",the present study was to investigate the team on the basis of previous studies-member Exchange individual creativity intermediation process mechanism,and on this basis to further investigate the impact of this boundary conditions mechanisms.The contribution of this study is mainly reflected in two aspects.First of all,for the team-members exchange the latest trends in the field of research and existing problems of psychological empowerment authorization from theoretical perspective is connected team-member exchange mechanism with the intermediate process of individual creativity.This aspect helps to deepen the existing theories for the team-member Exchange mechanism understanding,on the other hand it is possible to expand the study of antecedent psychological empowerment.Second,job characteristics theory,the diversity of skills integrated into the team-member exchange of research,study it for the team-member Exchange regulation mechanism,further reveals the team-the process of generating mechanism of action of members of the exchange and situations.On the basis of empirical analysis,this study finds that:(1)Team-member exchange has a significant positive impact on individual creativity;(2)Team-member exchange has a significant positive impact on the meaning,competency,self-determination and impact of psychological empowerment;(3)The meaning,competency,self-determination and impact of psychological empowerment mediate the positive relationship between team-member exchange and individual creativity;(4)Skill diversity plays a negative role in regulating the positive relationship between team-member exchange and individual creativity.
