Study On The Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Local Government Environmental Audit

Since the 21 st century,with the rapid development of economy,the process of urbanization has accelerated,the problem of urban environmental pollution has become increasingly serious,hindering the social and economic health,sustainable development,affecting people's daily life.Under the dual pressure of economic development and environmental protection,government departments have been paid more and more attention to the environmental management.Government environmental audit has also become an important tool for national environmental governance.At present,China's environmental audit in the theoretical research and practical operations are in the initial stage of exploration,grass-roots audit departments how to carry out environmental audit work has not yet formed a standardized and systematic research.Based on the results of environmental audit research,this paper studies the status of environmental audit at the grassroots level by issuing a questionnaire survey on the audit institutions in East China.Referring to the existing research results,this paper is based on the opinions on strengthening the audit of resources and environment,from the understanding and importance of environmental audit,team construction and other aspects of questionnaire design,in-depth understanding of the status of grass-roots environmental audit in East china.Through the statistical analysis of the survey results,it is found that the current environmental audit work in the process of carrying out the environmental audit team cannot meet the audit needs,too much attention to environmental investment,and also lack of sub-regional,sub-project environmental audit Evaluation of the index system.In view of the above problems,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward.Government environmental audit as an important part of the national environmental management mechanism is to improve people's living environment,promote green development model,the implementation of sustainable development concept of the fundamental way.Therefore,pay attention to and keep development of environmental audit is the inevitable choice of today's audit development.
