Work and family are two center areas of the adult population,with the increase of work requirements,more and more pressure from workplace seeping into the employee's family life.As an important job in the world of work pressure source,employees who are chronically job insecurity,not only reduce the employee's work-related well-being(such as emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction),mental health(such as anxiety and depression)and physical health(such as insomnia and physical complaints),also affect the families of employees.According to the cross effect,individual stress or stressor affect their spouse's stress or stressor.Job insecurity affects individual as well as their spouses work-related well-being,mental health and physical health.Based on 200 pairs of dual-earner couples,this study looked at the effects of job insecurity on emotional exhaustion under the work-family interface.The data were collected using the questionnaire survey method,and the data and hypothesis models were analyzed and validated through SPSS19.0 and AMOS17.0.The results showed:(1)A husband's job insecurity has a positive effect on his emotional exhaustion,and his wife's job insecurity has a positive effect on her emotional exhaustion.(2)Individual work-family conflicts mediate between job insecurity and emotional exhaustion.In particular,the husband's work-family conflict in the relationship between job insecurity and emotional exhaustion plays an mediation role,wife's work-family conflict in the relationship between job insecurity and emotional exhaustion plays an mediation role.(3)There is a cross-effect between a spouse's job insecurity and an emotional exhaustion.In particular,a husband's job insecurity has a positive effect on wife's emotional exhaustion,and a wife's job insecurity has a positive effect on her husband's emotional exhaustion.(4)Individual work-family conflict mediate between a spouse's job insecurity and emotional exhaustion.Individual work-family conflict mediate the individual job insecurity and its spouse's emotional exhaustion is only reflected in the husband,in particular,the husband's work-family conflict mediate between his job insecurity and wife's emotional exhaustion,wife's work-family conflict don't mediate between her job insecurity and husband's emotional exhaustion relationship.The innovation of this study point mainly includes two aspects: firstly,based on the work-family interface,think of work and family as two interactive areas,study the effects of job insecurity on family(job insecurity impact on work-family conflict),further study the resulting consequences to the organization of the family(the impact of the work-family conflict on emotional exhaustion);Secondly,the survey was conducted by dual-earner couples,explore the impact mechanism of job insecurity among dual-earner couples.This study only at work-family conflict's role between the spouses' job insecurity and emotional exhaustion,future research could further examine other variable's influence on the relationship between job insecurity and emotionalexhaustion,such as leadership support,gender role orientation,etc.In addition,future research could be studied by longitudinal design,random sampling,etc.
