With the rapid development of the internet,online shopping has become one of people’s ways of consumption and the transaction scales are on the rise year by year.In 2013 sales volume of China’s online retail market reaches 1885.1 billion,a growth of 42.8% compared with that of previous year.In 2014 transaction scale of China’s online retail market reaches 2863.72 billion yuan,a growth of 45%.Meanwhile,the growth remains high.That indicates that the growth of online retail market is very fast and has become an important component of national economy.Promoting seasons in the previous four seasons like “double elevens” and “double twelves” triggered a fever of online shopping.Currently,online retail business has caused more profound impact on the whole retail industry of China.As e-commerce giants like Jingdong and Alibaba went public one after another,the pattern of online retail market has become clearer and clearer.Meanwhile,Jingdong,Tmall and Taobao are in leading positions.Under above background,this paper has studied the marketing status of Taobao furniture online shops,and analyzed major problems existing in the marketing process of Taobao furniture online shops so as to come up with solutions to how Taobao furniture online shops adapt to consumers’ needs by comprehensively applying literature review,system analysis and inductive analysis and how to work out online marketing strategies that conform to Taobao furniture online shops upon current online marketing strategies so as to improve competence of online shops.
