Study On The Ship Finance Mode Of Small And Medium Sized Shipping Enterprises

SMEs had become an engine of economic development because the number of them is large,their operation mode is flexible.The relaxation of related policy and introduction of preferential policies also provide SMEs development with protection.Whether government officials,institution scholars or related practitioners pay great attention to the research and the practice of SMEs development.The characteristics of SMEs determine that SMEs have a high-level requirement on the turnover and financing flexibility of money,yet which,in terms of SMEs,increases the finance difficulty and financing costs of itself.And it is the problem that bothers SMEs.SMEs,especially small and medium sized shipping enterprises are facing quite severe difficulties.Shipping industry is highly capital-intensive,its operation risk is serious and it is with expensive operational costs.And small and medium sized shipping enterprises encounter more and more difficulties and obstacles brought by their weak fund strength.With today's high speed of globalization development,small and medium sized shipping enterprises have become an increasingly important part of the whole shipping industry.Ship is the most important tool and production capital of small and medium sized shipping enterprises,it owns high price and its operation cost as well as risk is high,which determines that small and medium sized shipping enterprises can hardly maintain enterprise running only by itself.Thus ship financing is the key issue for small and medium sized shipping enterprises.Selecting suitable ship financing method,reducing ship financing difficulty and risk,injecting vitality for small and medium sized shipping enterprises have great positive influence on small and medium sized shipping enterprises' development and operation.Firstly,this paper makes a summary on the theoretical foundation of small and medium sized shipping enterprises' ship finance,defining the concept of small and medium sized shipping enterprises,making a relatively comprehensive analysis on the present situation of ship financing,and pointing out the problems encountered by small and medium sized shipping enterprises in ship finance practice.In addition to that,this paper analyzes traditional and new,domestic and foreign ship finance mode,setting up a small and medium shipping enterprises ship financing mode framework.Additionally,this paper analyzes the factors that small and medium sized shipping enterprises will consider when selecting ship financing mode combining AHP and TOPSIS method when evaluating financing mode and makes optimization for the ship financing mode choice for small and medium sized shipping enterprises.In total,this paper is aimed at providing the application of small and medium sized ship enterprises' ship financing with some ideas.
