Design And Implementation Of Flight Optimization's Supporting And Decision-making System

The flight plan is the core and foundation of all production activities for an airline company.It is also the main basis to organize and arrange daily production activities.Airline companies use it to allocate capacity,arrange persons,coordinate and manage.The flight plan is generally completed one month before the flight season.However,in the actual operation,there may be a large deviation of flight sales data between planing data.In order to save resources and improve the income,the airline companise should adjust the flight plan demand before the flights departure.The adjust for flight plan is mainly made by the staff in domestic airline companies.The staff depend on their own work experience and professional ability to determine the flight adjustment scheme.This kind of way affects the efficiency and easy to make mistakes.Futher more,it will affect the rational of adjustment scheme.At present there is no mature system to solve this problem.This paper studies the design and implementation of flight optimization decision support system based on the actual needs of airlines.The system is forecasting the future sales according to the data history ticket sales based on the existing flight plan.Moreover,the system adjusts the flight plan(including the type adjustment,the new flights,canceled flights)timely and reasonably to improve the operating efficiency for the airline companies.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)a combined forecasting model of passenger demand is proposed in this paper,which uses the number of the pre-sale and historical sales data to forecast the future passenger demand.This work is the basis of the flight plan adjustment and the core part of this paper.(2)around the flight efficiency,this paper studies the three flight adjustment programs,which including the aircraft adjustment,flight cancellations,new flights.(3)based on the two works before and the needs analysis,we proposed the overall design of decision support system for flight optimization,and we make the design and implementation of key technologies for three modules.
