| Tourist flows are centered around the traveler’s space movement,which are a kind of tourism phenomenon,and also a foundation for the development of tourism.Tourist flows are one of the hot issues that scholars at home and abroad concerned about.While the tourism industry in Xinjiang is leapfrogging,the tourist flows keep continuous flowing.Tourist flows link tourism destinations and show the pattern of network development.However,different destinations were often inaccurate about their role.Some destinations were blindly competing with other regions,and reconstructing them,leading to lack of collaboration between tourist destinations.Besides,tourism products were homogenized,which greatly hinders the sound development of tourism and sustainable development.In this context,the research on how to improve the efficiency of tourist flows,and to make accurate role positioning for tourist destinations,so it is important to increase the effective cooperation between tourist destinations.This paper is based on the systematic review of the theory of tourist flows and the theory of social network.We used questionnaire to collect tourists’ path and direction in Xinjiang,and based on the questionnaire survey,the Xinjiang tourist flows network was constructed.We analyzed the structure of Xinjiang tourist flows from two aspects: structural equivalence and rights centrality.At the same time,we discussed the function and role of various tourism destinations in the social network,and further analyzed the factors influencing the role of tourism destination.1.Our research had found that the Xinjiang tourist flows network has a significant core-edge structure feature,it presents a pattern of unbalanced space between the north and the south.Urumqi is in the core area,plays the role of tourist distribution center in Xinjiang.Turpan and Altay are in the secondary core,play the role of secondary tourism distribution center.The county directly under Yili Kazah Autonomous Prefecture and Changji are in the secondary core area,play the role of secondary diffusion center.Bortala,Bayingolin and Karamay are important tourism destination,gathered a lot of tourist flows.At the same time,Bayingolin in the transmission of tourist in the north and south play an important role.Hotan,Aksu,Kizilsu and Kashgar are in general tourism destination,these district rely on high-level destination to spread the tourist flows and interaction between the internal members.Shihezi,Tacheng and Hami are in the edge of the tourism destination.Although these areas are in northern Xinjiang,especially Shihezi close to Urumqi,with geographical advantages,but like as Tacheng and Hami,both lack characteristics of tourism resources,lead to very few contacts with other areas.2.We put some of the factors of tourism destination with centrality indicators to spearman correlation analysis,such as tourism resources,local economic development,tourism service facilities,and traffic accessibility.We found that different factors influence the role of states in the tourist flows network.Besides,we found that different factors in varying degrees affected the role of states in the tourist flows network.3.Based on the analysis of Xinjiang tourist flows network structure and the role of 15 states,we put forward the strategy of optimizing development of tourism industry in the social network of Xinjiang. |
