With the advent of the Big Data Age and the Internet + era,the organization faces a more complex internal and external environment,so the organization's awareness of strategic change needs to rise to a new theoretical level.Based on the theory of organizational identity in the field of organizational behavior and social psychology,this paper attempts to link organizational identity with strategic change,so as to provide a new theoretical perspective for future scholars to study strategic change.Organizational identity is the "central,distinctive and enduring feature of the organization that the organization members believes” and is the answer to “who is organization”.In the literature review section of this study,the author divides the organizational identity into four research perspectives by combing the existing research literature of the organization identity: the functionalist perspective,the social construction perspective,the social action perspective and the institutionalism perspective.Among them,the s ocial action perspective holds that organizational identity must be determined,often with persistence and continuity;the social construction perspective emphasizes the dynamic of ide ntity,that the identity is unstable and plasticity;the functionalist perspective focuses on the cross-domain research of organizational identity,Not only involves the field of or ganization,but also involves the field of marketing;institutionalism perspective emphasizes the impact of institutional changes on the identity of the organization,focusing on the organizational background and social environment in the process of identity construction.On the basis of organizational social construction perspective,the author puts forward the concept of organizational identity difference according to the dynamic of identity,and defines the identity difference is the cognitive distance between current identity and ideal identity.This paper reviews the current situation of domestic and foreign scholars' measurement of strategic change,and thinks that the current measurement of strategic change has certain limitations.Based on the organizational identity theory,the author tries to integrate the difference of organizational identity into the measurement dimension of strategic change,and establish a t hree-dimensional analysis framework of strategic change based on the identity difference,not only revising and improving the current study of strategic change measurement,but also contributing to help and guide the organization how to carry out strategic change and improve the level of organizational strategic change.
