Study On Regional Economic Cooperation Between China And Indian Neighboring Countries

In pursuit of the economic cooperation to expand the spatial of economic development has become an important choice of development strategy for more and more countries and regions throughout the world in the context of economic globalization and regional economic integration.Meanwhile,countries and regions have constructed regional economic ties to constant strengthen regional economic cooperation with its neighboring counties based on the Geographical proximity.With the development of science and technology,regional economic cooperation among countries and regions has broken through the “geographical proximity” to expand “geo-proximity”.China has been actively joined in economic globalization and regional economic integration,established economic and trade relationship with neighboring countries and regions,expanded the spatial of regional economic cooperation,entered the rapid path of China's rise,became the second power of economy in all over the world.So,it is inevitable for China to encounter a variety of geo-interests collision.According to the classical geopolitical theory,the basis theoretical law of the great powers' rise is resulted from the sustained growth of the regional national power.Great power to development and use its power in a reasonable way is not only the basis laws to maintain the sustained growth of national strength,but also the historical and geographical laws to development national strength from regional power to global power.From the perspective of history or reality,China's geopolitics,geo-economics and regional economic cooperation all have been focused on Asia and neighboring countries or regions.China is currently in the rapid rise stage,South Asia is one of the basis and important geo-spatial region for China's rise from a regional power to global power.Recently,however,because of India's rise and its world dream of great power,India has been thought that China's rise has become a great competitor for Indian great power dream to result in structural conflict between China and India so that India doubts relationships among china and Indian neighboring countries.So,to some extent,Indian suspicions affect regional economic cooperation between China and Indian neighboring countries.In a long run,It is necessary for China to actively plan and promote the regional economic cooperation between China and Indian neighboring countries to establish stable relationships with new thinking before the direct conflict between China and India.What has been discussed above,this paper intends to apply the related theories and methods of human geography,regional economics,geopolitics,geo-economics and geopolitical economics,based on the perspective of regional economic cooperation,the paper analyzes the strategic significance,potential,evolution and current situation of regional economic cooperation between China and Indian neighboring countries and the possible risks and challenges.On this situation,combined with building the Belt and Road Initiative,the paper analyses regional economic cooperation spatial and prospects between China and Indian neighboring,and try to put forward propulsive paths,strategic regulation,cooperative policies and methods for the regional economic cooperation between China and Indian neighboring countries in the future.
