Study Onthe Efficiency And Influencing Factors Of Logistics Industry Of Henan Province

The accelerator of modern economy is the alternative name of logistics industry,for the logistics industry can give a huge boost to promote the economic development of a country or region.As a new-boomed compound industry of China,the logistics industry will bound to be a new source of economic growth of our country.Henan province is a large province of logistics,but it is not a strong province in logistics industry actually.So it has great significance to analyze the cause of poor efficiency of Henan province's logistics industry and find feasible measures to enhance it,so that it can realize sustained development of the logistics industry of Henan province through studying the logistics industry efficiency of Henan province.Thus,the logistics industry efficiency of Henan province and its influence factors are chosen as the research subject of this thesis.At the beginning,this thesis carding domestic and foreign research situation,defining the relating concepts,and introducing the evaluation methods of efficiency.Based on comparison,this thesis takes the data envelopment analysis(DEA)as the method to evaluate the logistics industry efficiency of Henan province.And this thesis introduce the model of constant return to scale(CCR)and variable return to scale(BCC)of DEA method,and then analyze the current situation and the problems of logistics industry of Henan province.After that,evaluate the efficiency of 31 provinces' logistics industry throughout our country based on the two models,then respectively calculate the overall technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency,and horizontally analyze the figure of the logistics industry of Henan province.The following introduce the Tobit regression model and make regression analysis on five factors which influence the efficiency of logistics industry of Henan province.The empirical result proves that the economic development level,logistical informationization level and logistical resources utilization level have a positive correlation with the efficiency of logistics industry of Henan province,and the practitioner of logistics industry,locational factor have a negative correlation with the efficiency of logistics industry of Henan province.At last,come up with some countermeasures to improve the efficiency of logistics industry of Henan province according the empirical result.
