Nowadays,the function of port is not simple and traditional cargo handling,it’s a contemporary commerce service port,which relys on the modern information system technology,consists of the modern commercial service in logistics,capital flow,information flow,and business flow.In the background of the nation promoting to transformate and upgrade port,how to use the advanced technology to enhance the competitiveness of the port,and provide a more comprehensive service for customers of port is an urgent subject to study.Based on the current informatization situation of Port Qinhuangdao,this paper designs the Port Operations Visualization System with modern information technology.The system can provide a new means and methods both in the daily management and operation of port enterprises,contributing to improve the level of safety management of port enterprises,it is able to add a way of port customer service and promote the level of port information service.The main contents of this paper are as follows:First of all,this paper studies different kinds of the key technologies involved in the Port Operations Visualization System,by comparing the performance of various types of technology,this paper confirms the technology and the way of realization used by the system,this paper selects MPEG-4 for compressed video data,and using the IP SAN model for video data storage,Internet users can realize accessing system data by utilizing system interconnection technology and streaming media technology.Secondly,this paper analyzes the demand of the Port Operations Visualization System,completes overall design of the system both on the function and structure,and divides it into two parts: hardware subsystem and software subsystem,determining the logical structure of the two parts.Thirdly,the hardware subsystem of Port Operations Visualization System is detailed designed.This paper chooses the essential equipment on every logic layer and completes the physical structure and security design,the hardware subsystem integrates the original analog video dumper system with new network video monitoring system,at the same time,it can decrease the hardware investment and ensure the effect of the system.Finally,the software subsystem of Port Operations Visualization System is detailed designed and achieved,the hardware and software environment is constructed for system deployment,through the interface the system collects data from the Production Management System,and achieves the synchronization display of the production data and the video data in the client.
