Urbanization Analysis Of Xi'an-Xianyang Area Based On Remote Sensing

Land use change plays a significant role in ecosystem,resources and environment.The urbanization process which refers to the occupancy and disturbance of other types of land use caused by a speeded urbanization is the heated research issues of related researches.In particular,it is more worth investigating the interrelationship between the dynamic transformation of land use in urbanization and the problems in ecology and environment in the northwestern region with relatively fragile ecology and environment than other areas.Currently,making use of 3S technique credited to the rapid development of new technology in remote sensing and geographic information system to study the course of urbanization is developed to a mainstream research method.The remote sensing technology with rich data sources,a high degree of resolution,a more advanced image classification than traditional ways not only uses spectral information,but also interprets the land types as single objects and categorizes with spatial information,such as features of spectrum,geometry and texture for arriving at better interpretation results.Current study explores the spatial and temporal change of land use and land cover in Xi'an--Xianyang region during the urbanization.It targetes Xi'an--Xianyang region with integrated construction as survey region,sets the four stages multi-source remote sensing images in 2000,2005,2010 and 2015 as interpreted data base,discusses issues including monitoring of changed land use,process of remote sensing monitoring of urbanization and driving mechanism analysis and explores the temporal and spatial varying rules of land use and cover during its urbanization,in order to study the process,characteristics and internal mechanism of the urbanization in Xi'an--Xianyang region for theoretically support its urbanization.1.This study collectes four stages of graphs involving information about changing land use by extracting information of object-oriented remote sensing images.2.The research systematically analyzes urbanization in Xi'an--Xianyang region from 2000 to 2015 based on the graphs of land use.Also,this article explores its amount and location of land use in spatial and temporal characteristics for getting the features and tracking its urbanization.3.This study assumes that policy-oriented factors weight significantly in driving urbanization in Xi'an--Xianyang region,and fundamentally account for economic boom.On one hand,Transportation construction underlies urban development.On the other hand,increasing population facilitates outward expansion.
