With the development of economy, cars----the once unreachable luxury----have entered ordinary Chinese families. However, the quality problems caused so much loss that the auto manufacturers recognize the importance of traceability in automobile quality management and faulty car recall. Therefore, how to uniquely identify the information of auto parts becomes the key of tracing to the source of the parts’ life-cycle。The automatic collaboration platform has collected a large number of auto parts sales, car sales and after-sales service data. This paper is based on the automatic collaboration platform. Using the XX group as the model sample, the author tries to ensure the life-cycle management and the traceability of auto parts by extracting the vehicle birth files, parts sales files, maintenance files and customer files and building the key and important data archives accordingly. The establishment of this tracing system can realize the traceability of auto parts’ life-cycle, the real-time interaction of full supply chain information and make sure companies acquire the needed information.What’s more, it can improve the vehicle’ quality and the efficiency of enterprise management, enhance competitiveness and help owners to protect their rights. This paper is divided into the following parts:(1) Introduce the importance and the current situation of auto parts traceability.Using the XX group as an example, analyze the deficiency of current system, research on the vehicle retrospective model and summarize the overall demand in auto parts tracing system based on the automatic collaboration platform and form a history data archive.(2) Based on the demand analysis of the studied system, the writer will discuss the overall solution, explain the application scenarios and the overall framework and complete the design of functions and database of the system.(3) Set up the data model of each part in the life-cycle and analyze the related affection among all the elements. Therefore, find the impact between upper and lower levels in the fault tree. So that by looking for the minimum cutest, the writer can locate the key link that impact the parts’ quality,At the same time, according to the structural characteristics of auto parts, a BOM-based fault tracing algorithm is designed to realize the failure of parts and batches in the event of product failure.(4) Design the auto parts tracing system. Realizing the unique identification of auto parts’ information by QR Code and verifying the feasibility of the system.
