Research On The Effectiveness And Improvement Of Internal Control Of Procurement Business In T Feed Company

In recent years, there are an increasing number of large companies acquiring small companies which are poorly managed in the feed industry. In order to survive in such a fierce market, managers should not only promote marketing,but also make sure the good internal control. In this thesis, the effectiveness of internal control of procurement in T feed company is analyzed. It is expected that effective approaches are put forward to deal with existent problems about internal control in the T company, and the case of the T company can provide other companies references about internal control.First of all, a comparative analysis is implemented to compare the procurement internal control system of the T company with Enterprise Internal Control Application Guidelines, to examine that whether the system of the T company is standard. It is found that some shortcomings exist in the supplier selection system and the payment system of the T company. Then, a questionnaire survey and a walk-through test are carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of procurement internal control. The results show that there are several problems in the procurement internal control of the T company, such as the lack of internal control consciousness of managers, the insufficiency of professional level of staff, the lack of procurement risk assessment mechanism, the imperfection of procurement internal control,blocked information delivery, the poor implement of internal supervision, etc. At last,some suggestions are given based on the situation of the T company and the knowledge related to internal control, after a deep analysis of the problems found in the test process.
