With the increasing trend of world economic integration, the development of transnational corporations has a very important influence on the driving of a country's economy.China's reform and opening-up policy has been developing in depth over time, and the implementation of the policy of "going out" and "going all the way" has also led to the increasing strength and influence of Chinese enterprises in the world. At the end of 2015,China's foreign direct investment(FDI)surpassed Japan for the first time and became the second largest foreign direct investment economy in the world. It has become a capitalist country in the practical sense.Foreign direct investment flows have reached US $ 145.67 billion,up 18.3% year on year. The new equity investment of 96.71 billion US dollars, accounting for 66.4%;current income in the investment of 37.91 billion US dollars, accounting for 26%;debt instruments to invest 11.05 billion US dollars, accounting for 7.6%.The United States as a global economic leader, has long occupied the dominant position of the economic pattern, both in foreign investment and the introduction of foreign investment, are among the world's leading level. And the United States has a wealth of resources and a well-developed core technology,in all respects are attracting the entry of Chinese capital.Based on this idea,China's research on US direct investment has very far-reaching practical significance. In view of this,we try to clarify the relationship between resource endowment, technological innovation and China's spatial distribution of US direct investment through detailed theoretical and empirical analysis.First of all, through the background of China's direct investment in the United States, respectively, from the impact of OFDI spatial layout of the basic theory, economic factors, political factors and social factors from several perspectives to study. After discussing the ideas and contents of the text in detail, the theoretical basis of the foreign direct investment is expounded in detail, and the theoretical analysis of China's direct investment in the United States is carried out in combination with the theoretical basis. From the aspects of resource endowment and technological innovation,The analysis of the spatial layout of the direct investment in the United States, and the establishment of therelevant theoretical model, trying to explore the relationship between the three.Based on the results of theoretical analysis, using the GMM dynamic panel model for empirical analysis of China's direct investment in the United States from2005 to 2014,the results show that resource endowments and technological innovation can promote China's direct investment in the United States and the resource endowments. The impact of investment is higher than technological innovation, indicating that China's direct investment in the United States is still in the resource-oriented,technology-oriented supplemented by the stage;sub-regional empirical research results show that the eastern United States technological innovation on China directly to the United States The impact of investment is greater than the resource endowment, while the western region of the resource endowment of its greater impact. Therefore, when Chinese enterprises are investing in foreign direct investment, they should pay attention to the early observation of the local investment environment and location advantages, understand and familiarize themselves with the local legal environment, and consider the use of local Chinese network distribution and the effect of industrial agglomeration in appropriate circumstances.Should be aimed at those who invest in the development of small and the potential of the central and western regions. At the government level, should be through policy and economic means to be small and medium enterprises to go abroad more support.
